Forensic Crisis Management & Investigation Center

Effective management is the most important response that can be made in crisis situations. These incidents require recognition of issues and coordination of resources. Effective and instantaneous communication between field personnel, incident commanders and experts is essential for successful management. The Forensic Crisis Management and Investigation Center– the “Command Center”– provides the tools to handle any major incident requiring immediate forensic expertise such as advanced technology, mobilization of experts, crime scene investigation, identification of victims and other forensic-related activities. Remote teleforensic capability allows experts to consult with investigators at a scene in real time.

Services of the Command Center are available to all law enforcement agencies within the region and beyond. The center has the capability to link the Institute globally for case consultation and evidence evaluation.
