Evidence Recognition and Recovery

Basic Crime Scene Investigation focuses on developing a proper mind set as well as proper procedures, to prepare laboratory personnel and law enforcement officers with the fundamental elements of crime scene investigation.

This four day course reviews the relationship of the type of crime to the type of the scene and the duties of first responders to maintain security and safety, recognize, document and collect evidence with practical hands-on learning through experimentation and physical evidence processing including latent print development.
