Interviewing and Interrogating in a law enforcement setting requires knowledge, skill, techniques and savy. The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science is offering a weeklong course to prepare the investigator for conducting thorough interviews and/or interrogations by teaching that knowledege and those skills and techniques. This course, as with most Institute courses, is an intensive hands on learning experience. Day one will be spent learning about interviewing followed by practical exercises, day two will be the same format, but the topic will be canvasses. Days three and four will be learning how to conduct interrogations and then practicing that skill set. The course will conclude learning about special techniques and legal issues.
The instuctors for this course will be Dr. Jim Adcock, US Army CID (Ret.) and currently an Associate Professor in Criminal Justice; Special Agent Ralph DiFonzo, FBI (Ret.); and Steve Chancellor, US Army CID (Ret.) and currently an Agent with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
