The Digital Experience in Law Enforcement Photography
November 9-13, 2009
Tuition $695
The technology for enhancing digital and film images has advanced steadily over the past decade. Today image correction, enhancement, and even manipulation have become an easily accomplished task on a home PC. The Henry C. Lee Institute presents The Digital Experience in Law Enforcement Photography for experienced police officers, detectives and crime laboratory personnel involved in image processing and analysis. Nowhere is this technology more important than in latent fingerprint examination and in document analysis, disciplines where analysis is key. Special emphasis will be devoted to improving the quality of image evidence through digital analysis.
The week long workshop explores digital image processing with extensive hands on digital image capture and image processing in Adobe Photoshop format. The objective is to provide expertise that can be put to use immediately. The workshop is limited to 18 participants so that each has the opportunity to process real case images with the most advanced techniques.
Classes begin at 9:00am, and are held at the Institute.
