Advanced Crime Scene Investigation focuses on specialized evidence and reconstruction of crime scenes. The emphasis is on the importance of scientific methods and techniques used in the examination of physical evidence at crime scenes. Practical applications reinforce classroom discussion of shooting reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis, forensic anthropology,bite mark evidence, and DNA and the role it plays in reconstruction. Emphasis is on death scenes and case examples in reconstruction.
