Date & Time: September 16–19, 2019
Location: Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science, University of New Haven – Room 101
Instructor: Kenneth Zercie, MFS
Tuition: $595.00

The development of latent fingerprints at crime scenes is a very important part of investigations. Often no readily observable clues are left behind at a crime scene and latent fingerprints must be located and developed properly without destruction of the evidence. This course will instruct the student how to locate latent fingerprints with different techniques, to include lighting, chemicals, cyanoacrylate, RUVIS, and dusting powders. The skills learned in this course are essential for any detective and crime scene investigator. The course will include some homework. The instructor is Kenneth Zercie, an experienced latent fingerprint examiner and instructor at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science.
