Forensic Science for Teachers

Location: Room 103 at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science
Instructor: Instructors from the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science and professors from the University of New Haven.
Tuition: $695

The course is designed to provide continuing education for high school teachers and college instructors who are, or will be, teaching forensic science in their curriculum’s. The idea of Dr. Henry C. Lee is… teaching the sciences through forensic science. This course will cover biological evidence, chemistry in forensic science, physics applied in bloodstain pattern analysis and shooting cases, math calculations, as well as crime scene investigation, latent fingerprint development, and legal matters.

As a comprehensive course, students will learn how to bring a viable forensic science class to their schools. Opportunities for networking with other students often bring out unique ideas that can be incorporated into a curriculum.
