The Forensic Science for Teachers course will cover instructional methods in the sciences and biology and will apply these sciences to forensic science and criminalistics. The teacher/student will learn the disciplines of latent fingerprint and imprint evidence, bloodstain pattern analysis, trace evidence, forensic chemistry including gunshot residue, arson and fire evidence, shooting reconstruction, and crime scene processing.
The course will include experiments that can be used in the classroom with students.

27th Annual Arnold Markle Symposium
The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science thanks all of the attendees and agencies at the 27th Annual Arnold Markle Symposium on the Investigation of Drug Related Deaths that was held October 22-23, 2018. The Symposium was extremely successful and offered another venue to discuss the problem that society faces with opioid related deaths. Our thanks to all of the speakers, and a special thanks to the parents who shared the stories of their loved ones. We are also grateful to the sponsors that helped us present the Symposium this year.
