Crime Scene and Evidence Photography

Crime Scene and Evidence Photography will be held at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven, January 14, 15, 16, 2019, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, in room 101.

Photography remains a critical component of crime scene and evidence documentation. It is imperative that the crime scene investigator understand the different uses of the camera and attachments to properly represent a crime scene for later use at trial. This course is an intensive three day course that will cover the theory of photography, different digital cameras, lenses, light sources, and software. There will be practical photography exercises supervised by an experienced instructor in crime scene and evidence photography.

POSTC RTR credit will be sought.

The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science thanks all of the attendees and agencies at the 27th Annual Arnold Markle Symposium on the Investigation of Drug Related Deaths that was held October 22-23, 2018. The Symposium was extremely successful and offered another venue to discuss the problem that society faces with opioid related deaths. Our thanks to all of the speakers, and a special thanks to the parents who shared the stories of their loved ones. We are also grateful to the sponsors that helped us present the Symposium this year.
